Healing the Past
By embracing the Métis community Black Creek Pioneer Village is symbolically healing a long-standing historical rift between the pioneers and the Métis. Through this unique bilingual festival the two partners have created a vibrant celebratory atmosphere.

Community Building
The Métis artists’ Collective is the hub of the Métis community in Toronto and the idea is starting to reach out to Métis across North America. It is the vehicle for the traditional reunion of long lost relatives linked by living kinship ties
